It's Show Time!

A Very French September

Bonjour!

This summer I had the privilege to go to France to paint again! We stayed in the Provence region surrounded by vineyards and lavender. It was true *bliss* and it inspired so many paintings. In fact, many of these paintings are in a show this month with my very good friend Laura Bollettino. We painted together in France this summer and had a blast!

I have been working on my paintings for this show for months. I started solely working on French landscapes in studio back in February to fully immerse myself in all things French. I couldn't get enough of these landscapes! This collection was a labor of love and I'm so happy to share it with you all!

Last weekend we had the opening reception for the show and had a wonderful turnout. We had friends and family come in from out of town and local friends show up to support us. Lots of laughs were had, paintings were sold and all had a great time. It is an incredible experience working so hard on a project such as this. You spend a lot of time alone in the studio so when it is time to put everything on display it is a lot of fun to be surrounded by so many supporters. Thank you all who came out for an afternoon of celebrating our French landscapes, I feel truly honored to have so many supportive people in my life!

The artist talk is this Sunday, September 21st from 2-4 and I hope you can join us! Laura and I will be there to chat about our work, life as an artist and take any questions you may have.
