I spent the summer of 2023 in the South of France painting the beauty that only France can offer. Whether being immersed in a lavender field, soaking up the sea views or visiting a winery, I always had a wonderful scene to paint.
There isn't anything quite like painting outside. I love connecting with nature, capturing the scene and even occassionally battling the elements. These paintings are a collection of local scenes of the DC area, Maine, South Carolina and many more places I have traveled.
I am constantly inspired by my surroundings and cannot capture everything I want on location. I am always taking reference photos that I can later use in the studio. The paintings in this collection are inspired by places I've been and have completed in the studio.
