This piece captures a quiet moment at the edge of the mountains, where a soft layer of snow settles over an open field and a small farmhouse sits tucked into the landscape. I was really drawn to the subtle color shifts here, the cool purples and blues in the distance against those warmer, earthy tones pushing through in the foreground. It felt incredibly still and peaceful while I was painting it, and I tried to keep the brushwork loose to hold onto that sense of calm and space.
